How to Style a Party

Sweet Sixteen
This was a sweet sixteen celebration I designed for a special girl. Her favorite colors are pink and orange and she wanted a V.I.P scene for her decor. The venue was in her parents basement so I had to transform the space into a loungy club atmosphere that teenagers would love and feel cool in.
Before the party started the guest of honor wanted to have a photo shoot with a select few of her friends who were her V.I.P's. This was a coed group made up of girls and boys.
The V.I.P's were given t-shirts, V.I.P badges and flip flops so that they stood out amoung the other guests.
When it was time to get the party started these kids intended to dance the night away so there were two major spaces. The V.I.P area which and the main dance space where the d.j spun the lastest tunes.
They sipped on mocktails to quench their thirst in martini glasses with a sugared rim of crushed candy.
These kids loved their mocktails. They were a
sure fire hit...
These kids had so much fun and it was a pleasure designing this event.

Sweet Tweet Baby Shower
It's Summer time and Belle Creations LLC is kicking it off with a baby shower for a baby boy. I themed this shower Sweet Tweet because I incorporated baby birds into the theme. The mother to be is decorating the baby's room blue and chocolate so I found this fabulous fabric that I used as a runner and as my inspiration piece. I painted bird houses to coordinate with the fabric. Bird's nest with eggs were used as favors.

The drink area was color coordinated in the blue color scheme with a blue raspberry mocktail with blue sugar rimmed glasses.

I designated the fireplace as the gift area and decorated an arm chair for the mother to be to sit on with tulle.
For the desserts we had cupcakes decorated to look like bird's nest.

Event of the Day...Monster Birthday Party
This is a monster birthday party I did for my son's 4th birthday party. The inspiration came from my favorite store Hobby Lobby. The color scheme included red, orange, blue, green and yellow. I decorated an activity area that included activities like decorate monster picture frames and make your own monster. The kids had a blast and I enjoyed creating this party.
Hope you guys like the pics
Enjoy :)
